Jeffrey A. Reed Scholarship Fund

The Jeffrey A. Reed Memorial Fund awards a $1,000 scholarship at the end of each academic year to a deserving graduate from L.C. Bird High School, where Jeff graduated from in 2004. Beginning in 2014, our scholarship will go county wide and will be open to all Chesterfield County students who are the children of veterans.

Congratulations to the 2014 scholarship recipient, Alex Cejka. Alex is a graduate of the engineering program at Bird High School. He finished with an impressive 4.7 GPA and will attend Virginia Tech this fall to study architecture.
 

2013 Scholarship Recipients

We were up bright and early to present our scholarships to L.C. Bird High School! In addition to our standard scholarship, which was presented to senior Sarah Bowles, we presented and additional scholarship in memory of Sgt. Aaron Wittman who was killed in Afghanistan in January of 2013. Aaron's scholarship was presented to senior Olivia Doyle.
